A barbell made from bioplast with an external thread.

Bioplast is a biogenic material (nickel-free). It can be cut to the desired length and re-threaded. An additional advantage of this polymer is its ability to be sterilized at 121 degrees Celsius.

It's recommended for fresh piercings and can be used during MRI scans. However, it's important to replace bioplast barbells more frequently than titanium ones, as they are more prone to scratching and wear.
